Four Point Inspections
Insurance Inspections
A 4 point inspection is specifically prepared for homeowners insurance, and shouldn’t be confused with a full home inspection ,also called a buyer’s inspection, comprehensive home inspection, real estate inspection, or general home inspection.
A four point inspection usually takes about 20-30 minutes and is only visual inspection of the following systems; Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and Roof. However, if you buy an older home you might be required to have both inspections.

Homes over 25 years old with a shingle roof, homes over 50 years old with any other type of roof and mobile homes over 25 years old must have the roof replaced to be eligible for coverage. To assist policyholders, Citizens has created a Roof Condition Certification Form (CIT RCF-1 1108) which may be used to certify the eligibility of the roof.
